Time:10:30AM – 4:30 pm
Date(s): October 30 − 31 (Saturday – Sunday)
Course Number: #6446
In this two-day intensive workshop, we will be plein air painting focusing on the Hudson River and the surrounding landscape in and around West Harlem at Riverside Park. By observing our physical surroundings, I believe we become more in touch with our environment and, through that, ourselves. We will make four paintings during the workshop. The artist will be encouraged to select two different compositions at separate times, making two paintings each day. The goal is to focus on structure, color and observe the dramatic light shifts throughout the day.
