After high school he studied for many years in Europe and the US, before settling in New York (where he was born in 1973). Soloff has exhibited his work at the Hirschl & Adler Galleries, Alan Stone Gallery, Hammer Galleries, Royal Society of Portrait Painters (London), Meredith Long & Company, Copley Society of Boston, Galerie Alexandre Butman (Paris), and others. Institutions where his portrait work has been commissioned include the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, Morgan Stanley, Westmont College, KKR (Kohlberg, Kravitz, Roberts & Co.) and others. He has taught at Chelsea Classical Studio, The Art Students League, The National Academy and many workshops.

Richard Piloco (b. 1964) is an American painter and instructor. He received his undergraduate degree from the School of Visual Arts, then continued his training at The Art Students League and the New York Academy of Figurative Art. Mr. Piloco was a member of a leading group of realists known as The Paint Group, six immensely talented artists who came together in weekly sessions to challenge and critique one another’s work. In 2002, Mr. Piloco was included in a small and select group of artists who traveled to the historical Forbes Estate in the north of France for an invitational painting adventure. Mr. Piloco has taught at Chelsea Classical Studio, The Water Street Atelier in New York and was a participant in the Mentor Program at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
