Class Description
In this class, students explore the range of possibilities that watercolor offers for expressive, contemporary painting. By manipulating scale, layering pigment, and contrasting translucency and opacity, the boundaries of conventional watercolor technique are pushed in exciting directions. Experimentation is encouraged and an emphasis is placed on individual artistic growth. All levels of experience are welcome.
About the Instructor
Elizabeth is the recipient of the Raluca Popescu Memorial Scholarship, a Nessa Cohen Grant, three Elizabeth Greenshields Grants and a Chashama Studio Residency. She was a Model to Monument Participant and had a monumental sculpture in Riverside Park South.
