Silya Kiese introduces a pathway to understanding artful concepts. Abstract symbolism in paintings, sculpture, found objects, and photos are explored, reviewed, and revealed. The class is designed to open your mind’s eye to see how a broad group of artists have transformed reality through visual inventions, metaphors and varied experimentation. Have a notebook and some colored pencils on hand for the class.
