Class Description

Interdisciplinary Course Topics

Drawing, Three-dimensional Sculpture, and Creative Writing
Ms. Kiese’s writing and artmaking class offers students the opportunity to share and discuss their ideas while continuing their artistic studies. Students use creative writing to clarify and inspire their artmaking. In-class readings and discussions covering interdisciplinary topics in sculpture, drawing, and philosophy inspire students to expand their creativity. Ms. Kiese encourages students to seek inspiration from artists across all mediums, from poetry to visual art. Students then return to experiment with new directions in their work in sculpture or drawing. People from all artistic backgrounds, including poets and writers, are welcome to this highly inspiring class.
